Dear CFPB, I am writing to file a complaint against XXXX, XXXX and Transunion for violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and TILA 15 U.S. Code 1666 ( b ) regarding a billing error on my credit report. Please see the dispute letters I attached on this complaint. It consist the account details. The presence of this inaccurate billing error on my credit report is causing me significant harm, including : 1. Difficulty obtaining credit at favorable rates. 2. Higher interest rates on existing loans. 3. Denial of credit applications for housing, car loans, or other financial products. 4. Damage to my credit reputation. I urge the CFPB to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against the Bureau involved for violating TILA 15 U.S. Code 1666 ( b ) and the FCRA. I request that the CFPB : 1. Order the credit bureau ( s ) to remove the inaccurate billing error from my credit report. 2. Require the credit bureau ( s ) to provide me with a copy of my updated credit report reflecting the changes. 3. Ensure that the credit bureau ( s ) take all necessary steps to prevent similar errors from occurring in the future. 4. Consider taking further action against the bureau ( s ) for their violations, including potential fines or penalties. I have attached the copies of my dispute letters sent to the credit bureau, and any other relevant documentation for your reference. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
