My account was charged a pending charge of {$140.00} to XXXX for a few gifts I ordered for pick up. I got there and was told they were out of stock on certain items and that I would receive the money back into my account once the transaction finalized for the correct amount. I waited days for the transaction to be finalized and no longer pending. Once it was finalized it was {$22.00}. However I never received the rest of the money back into my account. I called Chime customer service and at first was told that the pending amount was never taken from my account. Yet it was deducted from my Available to spend. I asked to speak to a supervisor, who once on the phone told me that the money had been returned. When I kept trying to explain that it wasnt she transferred me to another supervisor who proceeded to repeat the same thing, and then after I wrote down all of my transactions and used my calculator to check what my balance could be only to find it was missing {$110.00}, he proceeded to tell me that my account had been negative. This was my Chime Credit Builder account.. which my spot me is not connected to nor can you go negative on chime other than the spot me.. which is only $ XXXX. I have yet to receive the {$110.00} back. I spent almost two hours on the phone and it was pointless. I am XXXX to say the least. And then they wouldnt transfer me to a higher person, claiming that was the highest we could speak to. Chime has some good features but they are clearly okay with stealing money from their users, and the customer service sucks ( understatement. ) I will be switching banks asap.
