I enrolled for a semi monthly auto payment program. When signing up on the customer online portal, it required one to select the first payment date to be prior to the due date. The second payment, I was allowed to select ANY date. However, now after speaking to a supervisor, they will still be charging me a late fee because the second payment is after my due date. No where during the process did the website state that BOTH payments had to be before the due date. Only the first payment had to be prior to the due date. It was EXTREMELY misleading to the consumer because thats an extra {$78.00} they charge for late fee. Why even have that as an option if when you are signing up there are no instructions stating BOTH payments must be prior to ones due date. It doesnt make any sense. Then they tell me Im just incorrect and there is nothing they can do.
