Received 4 fraudulent transactions on my checking account from XXXX XXXX XXXX and I filed a dispute with the Huntington Bank. They initially provided provisional funds while the dispute was being investigated but a month later they resolved the dispute but withdrew the same 4 transactions from my account. upon calling them repeatedly, they mentioned that the researcher on their side determined that I authorized the 4 transactions using a SMS sent to my phone number. I never authorized these transactions and I never use XXXX. I think the bank should take these disputes seriously and credit the customer ( me ). Now I have negative balance and also have to deal with overdraft fees. Why are banks so irresponsible?
