I was receiving solicitations from One Main Financial via email and or text. I originally took out a loan for {$1500.00}. However, I continued to get solicitations with offers up to $ XXXX. I got caught up in the sales pitch and agreed to a $ XXXX personal loan with 35 % interest rate, and it was deposited into my checking account immediately after finalizing XXXX have a personal loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for $ XXXX with 17.7 % interest. I am making my payments on time and will continue to no matter the outcome of this complaint. I feel that I was gouged by One Main Financial because my payment history for all my debts and utilities are perfect -- no late payments and my XXXX is at about XXXX. When I tried to get another loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they sited my Income to debts ratio and was declined. Following that denial One Main Financial solicited me. I want my interest rate to be reduced to 18 % because I am paying all my debts on time and in full. The debt is a burden and leaves little to live on. Hope you can help me get a lower payment. All my income is military pension, civil service pension and social security
