Recently I accessed my free credit report from XXXX. In the inquiries section, there was an account review inquiry I did not recognize from a company called " XXXX, XXXX '', dated XX/XX/XXXX of this year, with the request originator listed as " XXXX XXXX XXXX '', which is I hospital I have previously accessed and paid my debt in full on XX/XX/XXXX without the account ever being sent to collections, however upon calling them and asking why they accessed my credit report without my permission I was told that not only have they never heard of XXXX but that they do not have the ability to access anybody 's credit information. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX directly to ask why they accessed my information without my permission. On XX/XX/XXXX they sent a letter stating the following, which I received shortly after : [ see attached letter for statement ] There is a lie in that statement ; I do not have any existing account with North American Credit Services, which I will proceed to refer to as " NACS '' for brevity. I attempted to call NACS and left a voicemail asking them to explain why they are attempting to access my account but they never called me back. Upon looking into this company, I have come to discover that it is a medical debt collection agency, which further proves that this is fraud as I do not have any collections accounts.
