Consumer Narrative
The charge on the account was fraud. I never used the account. Capital One refuses to take a fraud report and refuses to close the account without me sending personal information such as bank statements. They also are refusing to close the account until I provide them with payment for the balance. They continue to charge interest and late payments and report to my credit union.
