On XXXX XXXX XXXX I contacted XXXX to stop my account. I returned my equipment the end of XXXX. I received a notice via email that I needed to make a payment by XX/XX/XXXX and on Monday, XX/XX/ i received notification from the credit bureau that the account is in collections. I reached out to XXXX on XX/XX/2023 to discuss the account and was informed that they forwarded the account to a collection agency. So am confused. If the account has been forwarded to a collection agency and i never received a notification from them stating that this would happen. How can the bureau report inaccurate information.
