I sent in a dispute to all three credit bureaus on XX/XX/23 to have a collection account removed that did not belong to me. I also sent a validation letter to the collection company to provide me with proof that this is my debt and validation of ownership that they are legally able to collect on it. I have NOT received a response nor any more attempts to collect the debt from the collection agency which proved to me that it was a possible scam/illegally trying to collect funds from me. I provided this information to All three credit bureaus and the dispute results came back updated and verified. I then contacted XXXX directly to go over my results and they assured me they will put in a dispute for investigation. XXXX days later, the dispute was completed. It was again updated and verified. I asked for a copy of the exact investigation process that was used to determine the outcome they provided and was told a copy of my report will be sent to me. I explained XXXX not asking for a copy of my report but for information of how they determined their reinvestigation to be accurate in XXXX days when the normal dispute process is 30 days. It was NEVER provided to me.
