I have asked all 3 credit bureaus to remove a non-bankruptcy derogatory report that is older than 7 years from my credit report. Experian claims that only the reporting entity can remove it, and that I need to contact that entity directly, which I know is false. However, I have attempted to do so - the entity was XXXX, but since I do not have the old account XXXX available, I can not get through their voice system to access a human to try to have them remove the information.
