After AAA switched credit card vendors to Comenity Bank, this new vendor seemed unable to process my payments properly. After several months of on-time complete payments of full balance not showing up on my statements, I stopped using the card. Twice they even sent my payment check back to me saying they did not know what account to credit this payment to, even though the final digits of the account number were printed right on the check. Of course the checks were sent back to them by me, but then they proceeded to charge me late fees and interest ( for payments I had made on time and in full ) and now, they are ruining my credit with the credit agencies, claiming I have not paid my bill ( s ). My bank ( XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ) does use a third-party bill payment vendor, but I have proof that all payments were sent on time ( to the correct [ listed/bill payment ] address ) and this has been confirmed by my bank. Before the switch to Comenity bank, I have NEVER had ANY problems sending credit card payments to ANY OTHER credit card company. EVER. BTW : In their correspondence, their letterhead address has typos so it makes corresponding with them an unsure gamble.
