I recently learned that I am a class member of the XXXX class action lawsuit against Navient regarding predatory private student loan practices of which a settlement was reached. I also learned that Navient was supposed to notify me by mail that I am a class member and they haven't. On XXXX I received a call from XXXX to both my personal phone and my work, voicemail was left on both. The person who called me violated the Fair Debt Collection practices by stating " we are calling about options regarding your loan '' only. I returned the call on XXXX, it was an attempt to settle and collect the private student loan debt that fall under the class action lawsuit. They are continuing predatory practices and behaviors. I informed the person that I was aware of the lawsuit and failed to receive the notification regarding that matter.
