American Express received the full payment 2 days after the due date XXXX, XXXX. The full amount was {$140.00} and American Express sent me a statement Fee Late {$40.00} + interest {$2.00} I didn't receive the mail to my home. that is why the payment went 2 days behind. I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. I always paid in full. In the past American Express removed the late fee. Since the customer service is out of the country notice they don't have empathy with citizens. I asked them to remove the late fee of {$40.00} and the interest of {$2.00} and they denied my request. It is not fair. I always paid in full. I'm a hard worker and any pennies count. I want to submit this complaints.
