I filed a XXXX XXXX and paid it off. I paid the entire amount of my loan with Capital One. The layer placed the arrears of the loan in the XXXX XXXX which I paid. I continued to make monthly payments until my loan was paid in full. After I got my XXXX XXXX discharge, I was contacted by Capital One that I had past due amounts in the amount of {$1300.00}. They stated it was because the length of the loan. The XXXX was paid within the terms of the agreement. They would not release my loan until I paid the amount they stayed was because of the length of the loan even though my line was paid off before my XXXX XXXX was paid. The lady was very rude and blocked my cell and home numbers. I had to use a neighbors number to get through and then my social security number was blocked. Every time I called the 800 number for XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX the same lady e we other s as very thick accent would answer. I called in the mornings and she answered and if I called late evenings she would answer. She refused to release my title until I paid the amount she stated I owed. The same week I paid the amount she stayed. I was reported as a charge-off. It was not a charge off! How can they report this to credit bureau after I paid the full amount of my loan and this amount she stated was delinquent? My credit rating dropped by XXXX because of this companies dishonest employers. They refuse to take my calls and tell me why!
