The XXXX XXXX XXXX Account is showing a Late [ Delinquent ] Payment for XX/XX/XXXXXXXX in PAYMENT HISTORY -- See ATTACHED EQUIFAX SCREENSHOT. I CLOSED this Account in XX/XX/XXXX, and made my Last { IN FULL } Payment in XX/XX/XXXX. I have tried REPEATEDLY to DISPUTE this with Equifax Credit Reporting. Last month [ XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ], I contacted The XXXX XXXX XXXX, through the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), and my own written correspondence. I am ATTACHING The XXXX XXXX XXXX Reply letter to this CFPB complaint. This Letter is PROOF that the XX/XX/XXXXXXXX Late [ Delinquent ] Payment is ERRONEOUS. This Letter is also PROOF that Equifax DID NOT, and HAS NOT, conducted a THOROUGH INVESTIGATION into this matter. Per the FCRA, Credit Information MUST be reported ACCURATELY. This ERRONEOUS ( INACCURATE ) Account, on my Equifax Report, is ADVERSELY affecting my Credit. URGENT! -- I am ON HOLD processing a Credit Application until this matter is cleared up.
