Good morning, XXXX XXXX is illegally reporting to my credit report. The account was opened without my knowledge and has since been reporting negatively to my credit report. In XXXX of XXXX, I realized I was a victim of Identity Theft and have since been on a mission to rectify these accounts. XXXX of the accounts is from XXXX XXXX. When I notified them that the account is opened fraudulently, they said that the account is verified. XXXX XXXX went and updated their outdated info with my current data to make it seem that the account was verified and I have proof. After hours of bombarding a customer service rep, I have the original contract that was signed with XXXX XXXX vs their edited one. I know for a fact that they edited this contract because I moved to my apartment in XXXX and acquired a different phone number in XXXX ( the ones on the edited contract ). The only reason I got the original contract was because a customer service rep felt bad over my situation. It's impossible that in XX/XX/2023, I included an address and phone number that wasn't active until XXXX of that year. I have shown them multiple versions of evidence such as identity theft reports from both my local police AND the FTC and yet they still say this account is verified. What they're doing is illegal and they should definitely get in trouble for it. It isn't fair. I have attached both the ORIGINAL contract and their EDITED one, my lease that proves that I started living in my apartment in XXXX of XXXX ( which means I wouldn't have put that address in XXXX of XXXX ) and a pdf proving my identity. I have also included a voice recording of the " verified conversation '' between me and a customer service rep. If you listen to the audio, the person verifies the address from the original contract NOT the edited one therefore proving that XXXX XXXX illegally edited their contract to seem like I was verified. Please have them cancel this account, discontinue reporting to the credit bureaus and get them in trouble for the illegal activity they're doing. Thank you!
