I filed a dispute with XXXX in XXXX and they didn't update the amount owed, nor did they cease attempting to collect on the amount that was in dispute. I called, emailed and sent support tickets requesting that the amount be updated as well as clarity on what exactly was owed so I could pay it, however no one responded to any of my requests. After numerous attempts to contact the creditor, I filed a dispute with the credit bureaus because the amount showing that I owed was wrong and the company reported me late 30 and 60 days. I reached out about the error in reporting and for the correction to be made to the amount owed. The company finally corrected the amount owed however they did not remove the late reporting to my credit report as promised. Attached is communication with XXXX XXXX about the information. They stated that they would correct the backdated history, however the 30 day late is still on my report. Thank you.
