On XX/XX/XXXX, a sheriff came to my home and served me with paperwork from Pressler , Felt & Warshaw , LLP. The paperwork states its a debt from XXXX in the amount of {$1800.00}. Not only was this tactic extremely intimidating ( I have XXXX and this brought back a lot of XXXX for me ), it was also very embarrassing and humiliating to have a XXXX come to my house for this purpose. I work virtually from home and this was done during my work day while speaking with clients. The paperwork does not give any detailed information regarding what this XXXX debt is for, and I am now being harassed almost 10 years later! In the paperwork it states that I have 20 days to make a payment or my employer will be contact so that my wages will be garnished at a RIDICULOUS amount! Since receiving this paperwork, Pressler , Felt & Warshaw , LLP have called me every single day at least 4 times per day. I feel harassed, bullied, threatened, and intimidated by Pressler , Felt & Warshaw , LLP. I do not have the financial stability to make a payment within 20 days, let alone to be garnished over {$280.00} per paycheck. I am a single mother who is trying to make ends meet.
