I was never notified that I had an opportunity to dispute this debt. This has been added to my credit report and they haven't even sent me a notice validating the alleged debt -- This company is in clear violation of the credit collection laws -- also they never even stated if they can collect in my state, and they have never even confirmed that the statute of limitations have run out for this debt According to FDCPA codes ( 3 ) a statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector ;
