XXXX XXXX I received a text from someone that had a property to show me. I had entered my phone number on all these rental websites that I really do not know how he git my number. I went to the property he told me. Has to be verified through XXXX to get the access code to enter the property which I Did. Looked at the property he was on the phone with me. We agreed and sent him {$1000.00} for deposit and {$1100.00} for the rent so I can live there. Later on, he sent me the contract. It was misspelled, unprofessional and had a whole different address. I no longer wanted that property because well thats when I realized I had been scammed. He didnt answer my calls, told me he got pulled over. Disputed with my bank, told the officers, but closed case. Because They say its my fault and how do they know Im telling the truth. I got the deeds to the house from my local court house and his name is nowhere to be found.
