I borrowed a loan XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX Loans for {$2000.00}. My payments started XXXX XXXX for {$400.00}, XXXX XXXX for {$400.00}, XXXX XXXX for {$400.00} and XXXX XXXX for {$400.00}. I began to feel very concerned about how much I was being charged and for how long the term was going to be. I called Consumer Affairs about it and they suggested that I call XXXX XXXX XXXX to have my rate & fees adjusted to a lower fee. River Valley loans did adjust my rate & fees to a lower payment by starting my loan over. I paid every XXXX weeks Beginning XXXX XXXX I started paying {$210.00}. I have paid them {$4400.00} so far. I want credit for what I have paid already. I want to be treated fairly. Is this Legal to charge this much for a {$2000.00} loan? River Valley Loans said that I still owe them over {$4000.00} and something more! Thats over {$8000.00} for a {$2000.00} loan. This has to be illegal! Isnt this loansharking???
