This collection agency is performing unfair practices, in which this keeps the account reporting as open/ current and does not display a closing date on my credit report. This debt also exceeds the statutory limit for the state of South Carolina, which is stated in section XXXX of title XXXX Remedies and Procedures. This is also deemed unfair in conjunction with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ; 15 U.S.C.-1681 et seq that states : U.S. Federal Government legislation enacted to promote the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of consumer information contained in the files of consumer reporting agencies.
