On XX/XX/2023, I called Equifax to follow up on an existing dispute to have a bankruptcy removed from my credit file. This may be my 2nd/3rd complaint to expediate the process. Upon awaiting results of this outcome to apply for funding ; so that, I do not receive a high interest from my application. As well as contacting XXXX about this situation. XXXX buys information from databases, and executes without a individual 's consent. Our court systems do not report this type of information to credit reporting bureaus. This was processed without my consent ; in which, it should not have placed on my credit report. As quick as it took to make it effective - I expect the same result in removing the information. Specialists are informing me over the phone that it remains on the file for 10 years. No, that is for someone who is not familiar with the laws involving FCRA, FTC, US Codes, and more.
