On XXXX XXXX someone attempted to open a fraudulent credit card with XXXXXXXX XXXX in my name. I was alerted since I had a savings account with XXXX XXXX I contacted them right away and they stopped it. XXXXXXXX XXXX sent me a letter confirming of the fraud and that they would alert the credit report agencies. I contacted TransUnion several times. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was asked to mail in the letter from XXXX XXXX. I did. Nothing was done. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I contact them and they ask now for a FTC report to confirm the fraud. The only way to send this is through mail again. I keep spending my time and my money on rectifying an error that is not mine. This was fraud and they have been notified by XXXXXXXX XXXX and myself. They do nothing.
