I previous had a XXXX account that I closed due to the fact that fraudulent charges appear on the bill. I took the steps by filing an claim with XXXX and reported the charges while the account was still open and no remedy or investigation was started nor did I received a follow up. The charges was placed on the bill and I could no longer afford payment and I closed the account. I contacted XXXX multiple times since closure and reported the fraud with the FTC and through their claim department informing them a representative from they company mishandle my account which resulted in the fraudulent charges. I did not receive a response. Almost a year later a collection was reported on my credit report on from all three CRAs under Credence Resource Management for {$1300.00}. I did not receive any communications from the collector prior to reporting. I did not receive any communication notice or a validation notice per the FDCPA rule that regulates when a collector can report the collection. I have since disputed the collection and requested validation and I did not receive any notice from Credence. But from XXXX the original creditor. Which continues to request documents that was already provided. At this time I believe my rights are being violated by both companies. This collection is impacting my lively hood and my credit worthiness. I ask that the CFPB, please get involve and help me get a resolve. I should not be held responsible for fraudulent debt.
