Consumer Narrative

When I first called my mortgage company, United Wholesale Mortgage, back in XXXX of this year, I spoke with a representative by the name of XXXX XXXX. I was given ID number XXXX by him. I made it clear that my wife 's income would be reduced until XXXX or XXXX of XXXX as a result of her recent XXXX XXXXXXXX. They gave me an extension good until XX/XX/XXXX, for a period of XXXX month. I paid on XX/XX/XXXX ; the conference number that was provided online is below. On XX/XX/XXXX, you submitted your one-time payment draft for your loan ending in XXXX in the amount of {$1800.00}. The number for confirmation is XXXX. Then, in XXXX, they claimed that the check bounced and assessed a {$25.00} late fee. My monthly installment is {$1800.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted them seeing that their promise was given for an extra month 's extension. I shared in several communications with my wife who helps with the bills her income was put on hold due to XX/XX/XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX and needed help back in XXXX, after they received the first payment in good faith as promised. I found out in that conversation with the litigation dept they misled me. So, I waited and reached out this time to corporate where they let me speak with a XXXX named XXXX XXXX, who listened to my formal complaint and corrected the issue by providing a forbearance extension for the next 5 months and removing the {$25.00} late fee assess and that would be receiving a form from the ligation showing all promise. She also said during this time there won't be any late charges or credit reporting. I later received a text message alert and email that the XXXX payment was late after I was told there would be no bad credit reporting to any agency during the forbearance that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX shared. I was so upset that my credit score of XXXX went to XXXX credit which was bad. What they did was a deceptive practice. I've filed with Texas Attorney General # XXXX My case # XXXX
