In XXXX my co-borrower filed bankruptcy and the loans were placed into bankruptcy and the payments were placed on hold, during the proceedings. Navient told my co-borrower that the student loans could not remain in the bankruptcy and the loans were pulled out of the discharge proceedings. Navient Solutions, formally Sallie Mae, currently has a settlement case, Woodard v. Navient Solutions, where they told borrowers/co-borrowers that they could not have private student loans discharged in bankruptcy. They were to provide a list of borrowers to the courts, who were affected. Our names were not shared, even though we qualify for the settlement, according to the criteria listed XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). We would like to be added to the list of borrowers affected by their decit.
