Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to pay off my student loan in full. For multiple days, the account balance read {$0.00}. Not until an email from XX/XX/XXXX saying I had a late payment did I learn that the payment was reversed. I never received any email telling me that the payment was reversed or why. Now, today, XX/XX/XXXX, I am trying to figure out why this is, and I have been hung up on multiple times by Edfinancial Services customer service. This is incredibly frustrating and I have accrued interest on my loan because I thought it was paid in full. This is unfair.
