Back in XXXX I had tried to apply for a home loan, but I was notified that I could not get approved because there is an account listed on my credit that states it is a student loan or educational loan, and I am trying to use my VA loan to buy a house. I got a copy of my credit report and contacted the credit bureaus and asked them how I could dispute it because I do not have any student loans or educational loans and they opened a dispute. During that time I tried contacting the phone number and address that are listed on the account, showing as an educational or student loan, but the phone number does not work, it goes to a pre-recorded rewards center at click my rewards and the letter that I had mailed to the address listed on the account was returned. My dispute came back from the credit bureau, and it stated that nothing is wrong with what is being recorded, and there will be no changes made to it. I filed a second dispute because I told them it is false. I do not have educational or student loans out and I cant even get in touch with the company that is listed on the account to even speak to them about it, and the credit bureau told me, it is true and accurate and it will not change. I filed a third dispute again asking for the same result, and the report came back in XXXX that it had been updated so when I went to look at my credit report, the only thing they had changed on the account is they changed it from current terms match to a charge off but it is still showing as an educational or student loan the phone number is still incorrect and it is still the incorrect mailing address. I have no way to get in touch with these people. I have tried to get the credit bureaus to help me and they said they can not change it only get the creditor can and this has been preventing me from buying a home for the past four months because I can not get approved for a VA home loan with this false student loan showing as a collection on my credit report. I feel its completely unfair that it is being reported falsely incorrectly and no one is going to change it or help me even though the account says XXXX XXXX and it is being reported as a student loan. That makes no sense to me whatsoever but regardless, the credit bureaus are not helping, and I have no way to speak directly with the creditor on the account thats listed. When I asked the credit bureaus if they could provide true and accurate contact information to me for the account they told me what is on the account in my report is correct. I have attached pictures of whats on my report and I urge you to call that number it is not going to be a number that is the creditor for this account. I have googled the address that is listed on this account and it shows it being right next door to a XXXX XXXX XXXX, but no name listed on the building just a XXXX listing.
