On XX/XX/ I sent Loan Depot the following Letter : ''I would like to pay for my own Property Taxes. This way, I will not have surprises from LoanDepot regarding a shortage in my Escrow. I have been dutifully paying them on time. Thus far, from my calculations, I am in the positive of ( {$390.00} ) in my Escrow account, but your analysis are saying that I have a negative Escrow of XXXX. I have paid into Escrow for the past 10 months. I have been paying XXXX in Escrow monthly. The analysis sheet sent to me on XXXX XXXX XXXX indicates that I have been only paying {$470.00}. They are claiming a shortage of {$30.00}. Which, I have been paying. In conclusion, because I can no longer trust the analyses that are being sent to me ( in order to bill me a shortage of {$1800.00} ), which is ludicrous, I will pay for my own taxes. Therefore, I can not be sent unscrupulous billing from Loan Depot. Also, you have an erroneous amount for my XXXX taxes. What is due is {$1400.00}, which I would like to pay myself. Thank you in advance. '' They also are trying to charge me for RBP, which stands for RISK BASE PRICING, which I googled and found out that this is illegal. I am already paying a mortgage insurance in my Escrow and this should cover any problems in my Escrow. I have never been late on my mortgage or Escrow so what is their problem? Even though, my taxes and insurance have increased there is enough money collected out of my Escrow to cover the costs. After looking at how much I paid in Escrow and how much all of my Escrow came to I would be short approx. {$31.00}. I paid {$6000.00} in Escrow and the total that needs to be paid out at the end of the year is {$6000.00}. Why do they need {$1800.00} claiming a shortage of this amount. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
