I want to know what options do we have for cancellation of this debt. On the federal side they have been beyond accommodating to help with the repayment process and with the cancellation process. However, on the private side they are very little options for payment deferrals and no options for debt cancellation. I took out an initial loan of {$3500.00} and made consistent payment on the loan and right now I owe {$8700.00} and Ive been charged over $ XXXX in interest.
