On XX/XX/XXXX we made a payment to CMA Financial using our bank account information over the phone. We do not know if an error is made on CMA, banking, or on entry of numbers but we were not notified by email or phone. The website reflected successful payment made initially so there was no reason to believe the payment did not go through. We did not receive a letter until XX/XX/XXXX when we received two separate letters, one that showed that payment was on time and another that said that payment had been reversed. The communication on this issue was done very poorly and contributed to a late payment notation on our credit report. We talked to a Level 3 manager who basically did not acknowledge the lack of communication and just kept saying it was our fault and nothing could be done. He was frequently impatient and showed no sympathy. He refused to give us higher level contact by email, insisted it had to be done over the phone. The payment was made after we received notification and we are asking that back credit be give and the credit notation about 30 days late be removed.
