I have been baking at Simmons Bank for 10 years and today I got a letter they where closing my account and giving me 10 days to get the money and go eles where. All this started when I made a complaint that multiple staff members felt mistreated by the XXXX XXXX at the location XXXX XXXX XXXX. # XXXX. She refused to cash checks and was just very aggressive simple things and rude to me when I ask for bank statements. XXXX staff member was so upset how she was treated because XXXX refused to let the teller cash a check because of a last name that was different on her SSN verses her ID which is very understandable. So I went up there asked XXXX what name does she prefer and She stated it I corrected it no big deal. XXXX was very aggressive towards the staff member in front of me. I felt like I had to Calm her down. Then same girl goes back in to cash her check same thing the receptionist takes it away from check out counter with her ID away from the Same staff member goes to XXXX XXXX again says she needs approval this time the staff member is filming the whole thing and brings to me I am mortified by what I see same aggressive behavior they threaten this girl with police for filming but she felt uncomfrontable of her ID being tooken into a different room she felt discrimination. XXXX XXXX the XXXX over XXXX gets involved says please send the video we don't tolerate this he watches it and then cancels my account. I am shocked to read this letter. He also tells me all of your staff and you don't go back to the XXXX branch and you don't know all the story these girls are not telling you everything. Well I told him I walked in stood at check out reception clear XXXX minutes they are laughing and the receptioninst goes to Karens XXXX never greeted us we just stood there me and my Mother that also works for me so I go threw the drive through and make a complaint I couldn't get anyone to service us I was upset so I called XXXX XXXX and he told me go to another branch I told him why do we have to go to another branch we have not done anything we have recieved poor customer service why are you overlooking this. Then by suprise my account is getting forced closed. I am hiring a Banking attonery they said do this now to start this. This isn't fair and I shouldn't have a account closed all my bills and credit card system is through this bank. I feel like someone thats over the branch over XXXX XXXX can see This is poor management. I want to do everything I can to make this right. This is miserable I have so much going in and out of the account I can go to a different branch XXXX XXXX is closing it forced and its my money and it also says i will get a money order through mail theres over XXXX in that account. This is wrong.
