Consumer Narrative

My Student Discover card was on hold for 4 months. I told them I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX student and I work part time at my XXXX XXXX and that my only option at the moment was to get an online signature for my enhanced notary form. They still decided to close my account without warning ( I had to call them. They did not email me, they sent me nothing in the mail ). And this is incredibly unfair. Since they didnt tell me what type of notary signature to get ( private or public ) and now they close my account. This is incredibly ridiculous and unfair to the consumer. I also think because I am a XXXX resident, they were biased towards me and felt no urgency or concern to actually help me with this.
