I received a collection for a debt I did not owe. I called the agency in XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023. I called the agency to dispute the debt and was told I didn't need to do anything further they would note it on the file. I contacted the original creditor and received confirmation the collection was an error and they would take care of it with the agency. On XX/XX/XXXX the agency put the collection on my credit report. I called and they requested the information from the original creditor be sent via email- I sent it and requested receipt confirmation which I have no received and they are not answering their phone or responding to me. This never should have been put on my credit report.
