Roundpoint mortgage has violated several mortgage lending laws, has defrauded me on multiple occasions and continues to do so. They have ruined my credit preventing me, a real estate investor by trade, from obtaining mortgage financing for my current projects. For the first time in over 40 years I have been denied credit because of Roundpoints mis-reporting. Roundpoint needs to be held accountable for their malicious, illegal and fraudulent behavior. If Roundpoint has done this to me a mortgage professional, how many other people have they done this to? I believe an audit of Roundpoint 's business practices will reveal rampant fraud within their origination. Roundpoint mortgage is in violation of mortgage collection laws regarding threatening and abusive phone calls. Roundpoint failed to properly notify me they had purchased my mortgage loan in XXXX of 2023. As evidenced by their own correspondence dated XX/XX/2023 they are in violation of proper notification laws. A company can not notify you XX/XX/XXXX for a XX/XX/XXXX payment due date and then charge you late fees when they do not receive the payment ; that is fraud. Attached are my canceled checks from XXXX XXXX, my previous lender. XXXX XXXX clearly date stamped the checks XX/XX/2023. Roundpoint is in violation of mortgage loan collection laws by attempting to strong-arm me into paying late fees when I payed my mortgage payments on time. Attached also are my XXXX payments to Roundpoint which were clearly made on time. Roundpoint is defrauding my by refusing to give me interest credit for principal I paid over 4 months ago. Roundpoint has been holding over {$6000.00} of my money for over 4 months now and refusing to return it or apply it to my mortgages. Roundpoint needs to properly apply my mortgage payments and back date the principal reduction payments and credit me the extra interest they have been charging me on the scheduled and additional principal I have been paying for nearly a half a year. As this is the XXXX complaint I have filed with the CFPB regarding this problem I have also submitted copies of this and all prior complaints to both the State of California and the State of North Carolina, State Attorney 's Office. I am requesting investigations for trust fund account mishandling, conversion and gross fraud.
