On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They checked my credit and provided a pre-approval. On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX, I received the first solicitation phone call from a local mortgage broker stating that they saw that I was searching for a mortgage and would I like to apply with them. After determining the reason for the call, I told the representative that I wasnt interested and to remove me from their call list. No less than a minute a later, I received the second call from a different lender. Since XXXX XXXX, I have received almost 100 calls from lenders across the country. Besides being annoying, these incessant calls have completely disrupted my life. Calling from the time I awake until well past dinner time, the calls have interrupted my life including time with my family, a wedding reception, church and other moments that shouldnt be interrupted by someone whos trying to sell me something. Please provide advice on how to rectify this issue. I cant get my time back but Id like something to happen.
