During the first week of XX/XX/XXXX my wife spoke to someone at Sequim regarding an acct for XXXX XXXX. My wife stated we can make small monthly payments and made a {$25.00} payment in good faith. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from Sequim and had my wife call them back on my behalf. My wife requested a mailed statement from Sequim and the Sequim rep stated one was mailed in XXXX and one mailed on XX/XX/XXXX. We have not received any statements in the mail and when my wife again requested a mailed statement the Sequim rep said we can get this info online. My wife then told the rep we agreed to a {$50.00} payment on XX/XX/XXXX. The rep stated there was no agreement in their system. My wife asked for a detailed accounting of how the total balance Sequim is claiming is owed is made up and Sequim stated they can not provide that. My wife then hung up and sent an email disputing this debt as the amount is more that the last XXXX bill, we asked for the name of the creditor, the acct number and an itemization of the current amount of the debt that reflects interest, fees and payments made to date. Sequim responded by saying " Thank you for reaching out to us about your account. Attached please find for your review supporting documentation concerning the debt. If your questions concerning this debt have been resolved, you may visit www.sequium.com to make a payment using your debit/credit card or checking account. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need additional payment options. '' Sequim attached XXXX XXXX statements for XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX.
