I received notification on XXXX XXXX that my account was closed. I called them on the same day, they said that it was likely a bug to be resolved within 48-72 hours. I called them about 5 days later, they said it was a bug and would resolve it. About 2 days after I called again and they said it was showing that it was due to a charge that had previously bounced - however that charge was related to a corporate/business account that bounced when XXXX collapsed and the company had to move accounts from XXXX. Also the account that bounced was for the business cards which AMEX left open, however, they decided to use that as an excuse to close my personal account. I have not heard back from them till date despite multiple promises to do so
