On XX/XX/2023, I remitted a payment via telephone with an agent. I made a payment via check. I inquired about the days of delinquency, I was told by the agent that at the time of payment that the account was at 29 days. She further stated on a recorded line that my account was not in jeopardy of being reported to the bureau as I was making a payment in time. Two days later, I received an alert from credit karma stated that my account was more than 30 days late. I trusted the agent was knowledgeable her job and able to accurately provide the correct information to me as a cardholder.
