On XX/XX/XXXX, I accidentally ordered a {$200.00} purchase from the vendor XXXX. I immediately canceled, requested a refund and received a confirmation email within roughly an hour that the refund would be processed. After several phone calls spanning XXXX weeks ; I was transferred and hung up on consistently when I asked when the refund would be processed/when I was to be expecting the money back. I was told that it would process on XX/XX/XXXX but " wouldn't show up on my account until the XXXX. '' It's now XX/XX/XXXX and I am certain that I won't be getting it back unless I reach out to some an authority/government agency because this is far longer than the 10 days to settle/resolve a dispute. This has been a nightmare for me as I'm now late on my light bill and rent.
