I received my statement for Comenity The Children 's Place charge card. I paid the card off last month, XXXX. It was surprising when I received a statement with an interest charge of {$2.00}. I called and spoke to a representative. I asked her how can I accumulate interest on a XXXX balance. She said interest still accumulates if the balance isn't paid off 30 days after purchase. She said something about an interest saver feature. I thought I was saving on interest by paying off my balance. This is a deceptive feature of their card. This made no sense to me. I paid off the bill in XXXX. How is interest still accumulating on a XXXX balance? I wonder how many customers have paid interest on a XXXX balance since they didn't pay their balance off in 30 days after purchase. The customer service rep is supposed to delete the interest off of my account, but I don't trust them. Am I going to get another interest charge next month on another XXXX balance? How can per day interest count on XXXX dollars?
