I deposited several checks from XXXX XXXX, issued by XXXX Bank ( now Flag star bank ), into my checking account with XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/2023. The total amount is {$22000.00}. XXXX froze the account and then closed it. Their Fraud department concluded it was fraudulent deposits. In a CFPB reply letter from XX/XX/XXXX, they said they received a request to return the deposited items from Flagstar Bank, request sent on XX/XX/2023. As of today, I still haven't received my money from Flagstar Bank, nor they are giving me any insights in the process of returning the money.
