ACTIONS BY ME : XXXX was notified by email and alert from XXXX- ( A new account was opened ) from UPLIFT , Inc. Opened XX/XX/23, Amount XXXX XXXXXXXX pulled my XXXX report and filed a dispute XXXX UPLIFT , Inc advising ID Theft XXXX XXXX-I placed a FREEZE on my XXXX credit report. XXXX UPLIFT , Inc spoke with Customer XXXX advising them of ID Theft, as I did not voluntarily open credit for myself or for anyone else with UPLIFT. I verified my personal information with them. XXXX made follow up call with UPLIFT, Inc- no one would give me any information. XXXX-Received email from UPLIFT, to fill out an ID THEFT AFFIDAVIT form to download and submit back to them. The Affidavit form would not download to an acceptable PDF. I called back to inform them of the trouble I was having, they said no problem just email it back to XXXX from the XXXX XXXX. XXXX I called XXXX to informed that I was having a difficult time with Uplift , Inc that I asked to speak with XXXX or someone in the XXXX Dept and all I get was voicemail stating to leave a message and someone will call me back..NEVER RECEIVE A CALL. XXXX Called UPLIFT for an update, once again nothing! Except for a the person 's name and credit was use for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX-Received response from disputeXXXX Uplift , Inc reports that this account belongs to me. Uplift , Inc is allowing bad credit practices, and allowing people to use others personal identification, without validating one 's identity. I have done all that I can do to prove my innocence. I never received any type of correspondence via USPS or email, nor did I receive phone call solicitation asking if I wanted credit with UPLIFT. I only found out about this because of the alert from XXXX letting me know of the new open credit. I currently have FREEZE on all XXXX credit reporting agencies. Please help me, I am a victim of ID Theft, I did not apply for credit with UPLIFT , Inc. I have already notified the XXXX of UPLIFT , Inc of their bad practice. The burden of proof is now on UPLIFT , Inc to show that I signed an UPLIFT , Inc credit application, address, and phone # used, or if done online, there should be an XXXX tracking where the application was originated.
