I am a victim of identity theft. The information listed below, which appears on my credit report, does not relate to any transaction ( s ) that I have made. It is the result of identity theft. The fraudulent account appearing on my credit report is : XXXX I sent a request to Transunion to have all of the incorrect information removed from my credit report, Pursuant to section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I have sent them all the required documents ( Police report, Identity verification, Credit report with the false info circled ) but Transunion did not take any action regarding the incorrect and fraudulent information on my credit report. Transunion did not remove the fraudulent account. Meanwhile, the two other credit bureaus removed the fraudulent info .This is a clear violation of the section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Transunion should be held accountable. Their inaction is making my life unfairly difficult.
