I purchased a product on or about XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX l then used the same vehicle on a road trip after getting it mechanically inspected. The vehicle made the trip no problem, upon the return the vehicle developed a heater hose issue. I parked the car and notified the dealer in which the vehicle was purchased. His idea of assistance was to offer a used motor for an additional {$1000.00}. When I told him that I could not afford that option, he reminded me that we did sign a 1-year warranty agreement. I then attempted to exercise this agreement, but the warranty department did not return any of my attempts to contact them. The licensed mechanic that discovered the motor issue did make contact with the company. He then forwarded the email to me ; I still have this email in my files. The company asked him to get the owner 's approval to begin the work so that they can see which parts are warrantied. Now, this is unacceptable, for one the mechanic told them that he recommended a new motor and two, I would have to incur the cost of the mechanical exploration in order for them to assess what they would cover. I had this vehicle for less than 90 from the purchase date, I did nothing to exacerbate this situation, but now my credit is in jeopardy. It would be better if this deal had never been done. Please help me resolve this, I do not mind paying my portion, but they should honor the arrangement or return my investment. They have no problem calling me daily to attempt to collect payment, which I willingly admit I withheld to get someone from the warranty department to contact me. This effort has failed as well.
