I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. After returning to work in XXXX of XXXX I struggled to get back to normal, my job had moved me to another department where I endured harassment by the senior ranking associate, leading to me resigning as management did nothing about any reports I filed. I was without a job for over a year, during which time I worked with XXXXXXXX XXXX billing department to attempt to reduce the monthly payment I owed. In XXXX of XXXX, I reached out to a third-party company called Dollar For to assist me in advocating with XXXX billing to reduce the XXXX bill. Within the week of receiving my request, my billing statement with XXXX read a balance of XXXX dollars and I haven't heard or seen anything about it since, until I received a debt collectors notice that the company Harris & Harris Ltd. had sent on XX/XX/XXXX and I did not get in the mail until a week later. I made sure to file a dispute with Harris & Harris Ltd. as the letter I received had inferred that legal action would be taken if I didn't respond by XX/XX/XXXX. I also contacted my agent with Dollar For to ask their advice one more time as to what to do and they sent me the link to report it here.
