Movement Mortgage has displayed a continuous and ongoing pattern of mismanagement and manipulation of my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX loan. After several specific issues related to my Escrow account such as Movement 's failure to disburse funds by the due date, Movement disbursing funds AFTER the due date and after I've made payments directly, etc, I formally requested that Movement close my Escrow account so that I may manage Insurance & Tax payments directly, as I've been doing anyway due to their mismanagement. Movement approved the Escrow account closure, then denied it, then re-approved the closure citing Clerical Issues on their backend, etc etc etc. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX XXXX indicating all backend clerical issues had been addressed, and that my Escrow account is now closed, and that my surplus Escrow funds had been mailed directly to me on XX/XX/XXXX, and I should receive that check in the mail within 7-10 business days. Naturally, I haven't received any Escrow refund check as of today XX/XX/XXXX. Furthermore, I see within my Movement Payment Portal that on XX/XX/XXXX, Movement has once again disbursed yet another duplicate Tax payment from my Escrow account which should have already been closed. Furthermore, due to this latest inexplicable disbursement, there is now another SHORTAGE within my Escrow account which shouldn't exist. On XX/XX/XXXX I also received a letter from Movement that my monthly payments will now INCREASE as a result of this manufactured shortage on my Escrow account which shouldn't exist. I'm requesting CFPB to step in here once again to help me find resolution. I've attached a timeline of events as reference.
