I received a notification from XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that I owed a debt for a service I allegedly used from a company name UPLIFT. I requested the details of what this alleged debt was for and they refused to provide any information. I never received any notifications by mail or phone from UPLIFT notifying me of a debt. I reported this as fraud to both the collection agency and the original debtor. NEITHER companies would provide me with any information regarding the supposed debt. I verified my identity to both XXXX XXXX XXXX and UPLIFT and was read back an email address that it not associated with me or anyone I know. I again reported this as fraud and have yet to receive any notifications.
