Consumer Narrative
I was advised via us mail that my 2 accounts with Capital one was closed due to activity that was against their standards. I've been basically unemployed for the summertime and was struggling with a part time school position with reduced hours and wages. My last paycheck for the summertime hours was only {$140.00}. Capital One was still trying to get payments out of my checking account and it wasn't consistent with my paydays. I believe their actions may have been discriminatory in nature and geared towards people in the minority class and income level.
